Q215 carbon steel wire is made of low-carbon steel with a carbon content of ≤0.15%. It is hot-rolled, pickled and phosphated, and strengthened by multi-mode cold drawing. It has a yield strength of ≥215MPa, a tensile strength of 335-450MPa, an elongation of ≥30%, and can be cold-bent 180° without cracking. Its hardness HV≤120 takes into account both cutting and stamping. Its cost is 15%-20% lower than that of Q235. After being adapted to galvanized/epoxy coating, it is specially used for manufacturing low-strength and high-ductility scenes such as metal mesh, logistics pallet straps, light spring frames, and agricultural greenhouse supports. With a tensile strength 10% higher than that of Q195 and excellent cold forming stability, it has become a cost-effective general structural material.
